BRING A CHILD TO LONDON 2015
The London 2015 International Exhibition takes place in London from 13th to 16th May.
Stamp Active want to encourage visitors to bring a child to London 2015 to share in the wonderful world of philately. A free prize draw will take place at the end of the Show for all adults who visit the Kids Corner with a child during the week.
Prizes are likely to include an 1840 Penny Black, sponsored by Stanley Gibbons and a Royal Mail 2014 Year Book as well as subscriptions to Gibbons Stamp Monthly, Stamp Magazine and Stamp & Coin Mart. Donations are being sought, so prizes may vary.
The KIDS CORNER is sponsored by The Spears Charitable Trust. We can be found at the far end of the mezzanine level. This year Stamp Active celebrates its 25th anniversary as we were launched in Stampland at another international stamp exhibition, STAMP WORLD LONDON ’90, so come along and join in the fun.
There are plenty of fun activities to keep young collectors busy. They will include activities linked to Europe and some interesting displays. Collectors will gain points for any completed activities and can then obtain free stamps and first day covers of their choice. There is also an exciting Treasure Hunt with a free goodie bag for all young visitors who complete the Treasure Hunt including the new BRILLIANT BRITAIN activity book RRP £3.
