Launch of Youth StampIT Project in Scotland
A new project has been launched to help schools and youth groups discover stamps through games and activities. StampIT is supported by the Association of Scottish Philatelic Societies, the Scottish Philatelic Trade Association and the Stamp Active Network.
Run by Sandie Robb, a qualified teacher and experienced education officer, it is currently organising free sessions in Central Scotland but there are may be limited availability in other areas.
Teachers Packs are also available on request, offering ideas on how to use stamps as learning tools.
