Outstanding Community Service Award for Stamp Active Volunteer
John Browning, who is a regular helper at Stamp Active events recently received an award from local radio station, Uckfield FM105, for “Outstanding Community Service”.
John runs a number of junior stamp clubs in the area and has been one of the most successful youth officers in recent years. Commenting on the award, Chairman of Stamp Active, John Davies, said “John is one of our real enthusiasts. He has five stamp clubs on the go in the Uckfield area and has inspired many young collectors to start collecting in local schools. The popularity of the clubs is clear as he never seems short of members. Many congratulations on well derserved recognition.”
