Stamp Active at Bookham Stamp Day

Earlier this year, Bookham Stamp Club invited KIDSTAMPS to join them on their stand at their local

Village Day on 21st June. Prior to the event, they had written to all the local schools and Guide Companies telling them that the Club would be promoting stamp collecting to children from the ages of 5yrs – 19rs, and asked them to encourage folk to visit their stand in the Barn Hall. Ray Watkins kindly travelled all the way from Essex to be with us, and was rewarded by 10 applications to join KIDSTAMPS , with a further two applications possible in the near future. Altogether, a very enjoyable and productive day was had by all, which hopefully sowed the seeds of philately in some young minds!”
