Tom Lawson is “Young Collector of the Year 2015”
Stamp Active Network has presented the 2015 Anne Dummer Trophy to Tom Lawson from Sittingbourne as their “Young Collector of the Year”. Tom is best known for his early venture in the stamp trade acting as a dealer at his local Orpington stamp fair as well as being an enthusiastic collector. The Trophy, sponsored by Midpex, is given in memory of the late Anne Dummer who was a past organiser of Kidstamps and ran the very successful Kettering Junior Stamp Club for many years. Tom visited Autumn Stampex with his mother, Sarah, and grandfather, Keith Jupp, and was presented with the Trophy by David Armitage, Exhibitions Chairman of the Stamp Active Network. He also received the gift of a framed set of TV Characters stamps from Royal Mail’s Fraser Chisholm.
